Some important points about your stay at ROOSTER’s. We strive to provide our guests with an exceptionally clean, safe, and friendly experience. The following rules are considered as part of our reservation agreement with you. If you need any further assistance or have queries regarding your stay, please do not hesitate to contact us.

ROOSTER Palama apartment, is situated on the 2nd floor of a new private building in the heart of the city and offers to its guests all amenities needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Among others:

Guests must be at least 18 years of age to check in at ROOSTER. Early check-in or late check-out is offered based on availability on request and subject to occupancy level. We require a valid identification document or passport from the guest making the reservation including first and last name, address, phone number, email and signature. The names of all guests occupying the room must also be registered.

DAMAGES & LOSSES POLICY

Guests are liable for any damage houseoever caused (whether deliberately, negligence, or reckless act) to the property caused by them during their stay, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing items, etc. ROOSTER reserves the right to charge the guest with the amount corresponding to the damage(s)/loss(es) We will make every effort to rectify any damage and make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.


LOST & FOUND POLICY

The area and the building itself are very safe; we also provide video-entry system, security door, alarm and safe for our guests, to secure their personal items. ROOSTER assumes no liability for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings. If you discover that you have lost something valuable to you, please call or mail us immediately and we will try to assist you.

ROOSTER is not responsible for any item left behind by a guest. However, any item left behind (with the exception of perishable items, underwear and miscellaneous toiletries) and found after departure by housekeeping will be kept in a secure location to be collected.

ROOSTER is privately owned and operated. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason(s) that does violate Greek and/or European laws. ROOSTER has a zero tolerance policy, in which we will refuse to admit or refuse service or accommodation in our apartment or may remove a person, without refund, who refuses to abide by the reasonable standards and our policies.

ROOSTER will refuse service or evict a guest: for refusal or failure to pay the accommodation; is under the influence of drugs, or any other intoxicating substance and acts disorderly as to disturb the peace of other guests or neighbours; seeks to use the apartment for an unlawful purpose; refuses to abide by the reasonable standards or policies established by ROOSTER for the operation and management of our apartment.


ILLNESS & EPIDEMICS

ROOSTER reserves the right to refuse accommodation to a guest arriving with a contagious disease. In case of a sickness occurance during the stay, please notify us immediately. Guests can notify us to receive appropriate health care from a nearby healthcare facility. During epidemics we are entitled to employ precautionary measures within our judgment or as required by local authorities. We may charge the guest with a room cleaning fee as we deem appropriately.

Yes. Free city maps are available, but you can easily find anything you wish (from Museums and historical places to Hospitals, Consulates, cinemas… in our “Attractions Map” page. Just choose the appropriate Category and you’ll reach infos and directions to almost any attraction city can offer to a visitor. Let ROOSTER be your guide to the city attractions that simply can’t be missed!

In the “Stepping Out” page you will find a list with the most important attractions in Thessaloniki, their distances from ROOSTER Palama Apartment and the time needed to be there! The most important attractions are only some steps away. You are in the heart of the city!

Do you need to know the climate conditions, the type of power sockets used in Greece, some useful phone numbers in case of an emergency or even your currency exchange rates? Then the answer is in our “City Info” page.

And probably you would like to find out what is going on in the city during your stay. So, we have included a full calendar of festivals, events, exhibitions, bank holidays, DST … even a full-moon calendar in the “City Calendar” page for your convenience.

Although we don’t, we include detailed maps with routes and bus stations from/to the Airport, the Port of Thessaloniki, the Railway Station, the Intercity Bus Station (KTEL) and the KTEL Chalkidiki. Have a look here.

Unfortunately we do not provide parking, but we have a list of available nearby parking-lots here. You’ll also find full details about the new Controlled Parking System of Thessaloniki (THESi).

Rooster had never good relations with pets in apartments, thus we respect it and do not accept any pets… Sorry!

We have a strict NO SMOKING policy throughout the whole apartment areas.

Yes, baby cots are available upon request and subject to availability (one per apartment for infants and children under the age of 3). Well behaved children of all ages are welcomed by ROOSTER. As parents or guardians of children you are personally and legally responsible and must supervise them at all times. For safety reasons, please do not leave children unattended.

We do not offer babysitting service, but there is an indoor child-care playground with supervision at the next door building!

We ask that all apartments are kept in a satisfactory, clean and tidy manner in much the same way you would be expected to leave a hotel room. If you are staying longer than 5 nights your apartment will receive a full service every 5th day (bed linens, towels, toiletries and toilet paper including). If you wish to pay for additional cleaning services you need to inform us upon arrival. On check out, you do not need to clean up but it essential the apartment is left in a decent, fit and tidy state.

ROOSTER appreciates a good night’s sleep, so try to keep things quiet. No parties, events or visitors are allowed without our permission.

Please respect the quiet hours:
Summer period (April 1 – September 30): 15:00-17:30 and 23:00-07:00;
Winter period (October 1 – March 31): 15:30-17:30 and 22:00-07:00.
